WELCOME TO STUDIO ANTHEIA
Hi friend! Welcome to the all new Studio Antheia!
By now, you are probably wondering what "Antheia" means and why I chose that name for the studio. You've come to the right place.
Back in December, I decided that I was going to change the name of my studio to better reflect the direction we are heading. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong. Guys. Naming a business is HARD. It has to be something that makes sense, but it also has to also be something unique and memorable and true to you. Oh, and you have to make sure the name isn't taken. And that the domain is available. And the social media handles. The list goes on.
I started the naming process by taking out a notebook and literally writing down anything and everything that came to my mind. If you are familiar with my work, you probably already know that I am heavily inspired by nature and florals. I was already using words like thrive, grow, cultivate, and roots as buzzwords for Morgan Parsons Creative so I decided to dig deep into researching plants & flowers. I love the metaphor of flowers and plants and especially love how the metaphor plays into the branding process. I thought for sure I would come across something amazing.
Although I didn't quite find a plant or flower that I liked, I did come across the story of Antheia. In Greek mythology, Antheia is known as the "goddess of flowers and flowery wreaths." The name Antheia itself means to flower or blossom. SO cool! I learned a bit more about Antheia and jumped on buying the domain and saving the social handles.
I've had a lot of business name ideas over the last couple of years but have always allowed myself time to sit with them a bit. This is the first time that a name felt true to me and I couldn't be more excited to see how Studio Antheia grows & flourishes!
